Murder On The Orient Express - The Lowry - Theatre Vlog & Review Including Curtain Call

Murder On The Orient Express ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In this vlog We go to see Murder On The Orient Express as it kicks off its UK tour at the Lowry theatre in Salford. We were invited to the shows press night which took place on Tuesday 10th September 2024 and the show started at 7.30pm the run time for the show is 2hrs 10 minutes which includes a 20 minute interval Act 1 is 60 minutes and act 2 is 50 minutes. We were sat in the Stalls Row G seats 24 & 25 and my view from this seat was excellent & there was plenty of legroom, so I would definitely sit in that seat again. This new production of Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express promises a dynamic and fresh take on one of Christie’s most famous works. With Michael Maloney stepping into the role of the beloved Belgian detective Hercule Poirot, this production strikes the perfect balance between classic suspense and innovative staging. For both long-time Christie enthusiasts and newcomers, this show is a must-see. Set in 1934, the play follows the renowned detective Hercule Poirot as he boards the luxurious Orient Express on what is supposed to be a restful journey. However, when American tycoon Samuel Ratchett is found murdered in his locked compartment, the holiday is cut short, and Poirot must unravel a web of secrets among the train’s diverse passengers. Trapped by a snowdrift in Yugoslavia, Poirot has limited time to piece together the clues before the train resumes its journey. The production faithfully maintains the tension and intrigue of Christie’s original tale, all while building to the famous twist ending that leaves the audience utterly captivated. Life Of Pi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ In this vlog I go to see Life of Pi on it's UK Tour at the Lowry theatre in Salford. We were invited to the shows press night which took place on Tuesday 2nd July 2024 and the show started at 7.30pm the run time for the show is 2hrs 10 minutes which includes a 20 minute interval Act 1 is 50 minutes and act 2 is 60 minutes. I was sat in the Circle Row E seats 18 & 19 and my view from this seat was excellent & there was plenty of legroom, so I would definitely sit in that seat again. Adapted from Yann Martel's award-winning novel by Lolita Chakrabarti, the play received acclaim during its successful run at Wyndham’s Theatre in London’s West End and later on Broadway, where it continued to captivate theatregoers. Directed by Max Webster, Life of Pi follows the journey of Pi Patel, a 17-year-old from Pondicherry, India. After political upheaval, Pi’s family embarks on a voyage to Canada with some of their zoo animals. However, their ship encounters a devastating storm, sinking in the Pacific Ocean. Over 227 days at sea, Pi grapples with the harsh realities of survival—scarcity of food and water, and the looming presence of Richard Parker. His faith, which spans Hinduism, Christianity, and Islam, is tested amidst the challenges. Pi's resourcefulness leads him to devise strategies for survival, including building a makeshift raft to maintain distance from the tiger and finding ways to sustain himself. At the exhibition you can find two of Gabriella Slade’s iconic costumes from SIX – those of Catherine of Aragon and Katherine Howard, there are also some behind-the-scenes pieces from Lucy Moss’s personal collection. A script marked with notes was a standout, offering a glimpse into the creative process behind the musical. there is also a section on "everyday queens," featuring images of drag queens, Lady Gaga fans, and everyday heroes captured by The Mancorialist. It celebrated the idea that everyone can be a queen in their own right. Interactive elements were abundant, there’s a photo booth with props to create your own royal portrait, a "Which Queen Are You?" board and karaoke booths for belting out pop queen songs. Shark In The Park - Home Manchester - Theatre Vlog & Review Including Curtain Call

AD - PR Gifted Tickets Shark In The Park ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We were invited to review Shark In The Park at Home Manchester on Saturday 3rd August 2024. The show started at 11am and had a run time of ~ 60mins with no interval. We were sat in the Stalls row E seats 4-7 and the view from our seats was excellent and I would sit there again. This delightful production, adapted by Simon Beattie from Nick Sharratt’s beloved books, promised an afternoon of family fun. Brought to life by the talented folks at Nonsense Room Productions. The story ingeniously weaves together three of Sharratt’s charming books: “Shark in the Park,” “Shark in the Dark,” and “Shark in the Park on a Windy Day.” It all begins with the intrepid Timothy Pope, who, armed with his trusty telescope, sets off on a series of whimsical adventures in search of the elusive shark. Each scene is filled with hilarious misadventures and imaginative escapades, keeping both children and adults eagerly anticipating what’s next. “Shark in the Park” was an absolute delight from start to finish. The perfect mix of humour, music, and interactive fun kept our entire family entertained. My children were captivated by Timothy’s adventures and left the theatre with big smiles and songs stuck in their heads.
