Jurassic World: The Exhibition at Trafford Centre – A Dino-Mite Adventure for the Whole Family!

If you're a fan of dinosaurs or just seeking an unforgettable family experience, Jurassic World: The Exhibition at the Trafford Centre in Manchester is a must-see! This award-winning experience has thrilled audiences around the globe, from Sydney to Paris, and has finally made its way to Manchester. With over eight million visitors since its debut, this exhibition is a true phenomenon, bringing the magic of the Jurassic World films to life.

From the moment we set foot on the path lined with giant dinosaur footprints, leading from the Trafford Centre to the exhibition, the excitement began to build. And for those who prefer not to walk, there's even a charming little train ride that whisks you straight to Car Park 7, where the adventure begins (there is a fee for the train ride).

Once inside, you're immediately transported to the world of Jurassic World, starting with a simulated ferry ride to Isla Nublar. The attention to detail is simply astounding—from the towering gates to the lifelike animatronic dinosaurs that roam the exhibition. These incredible animatronics, some of the best you’ll find outside of a theme park, make you feel as if you’ve stepped into a scene from the movies. Whether you're gazing up at the majestic Brachiosaurus or coming face-to-face with the fearsome T-Rex, these creatures are so realistic that you'll feel like you’re truly walking among prehistoric giants.

The exhibition is thoughtfully designed with plenty of space to explore, making it easy to enjoy each section without feeling rushed or crowded. One of the highlights for our family was the Hammond Creation Lab, where kids and adults alike can get hands-on with dinosaur eggs and even analyse dinosaur poo—a quirky and fun touch that had our kids in stitches!

The interactive elements don’t stop there, the baby dinosaur meet-and-greets were absolutely adorable, and the children even participated in a mini dino bone dig. Another highlight was the Raptor show, watching Blue, the Velociraptor, being "trained" right before our eyes was a thrilling experience that had everyone captivated.

Just when we thought things couldn’t get more exciting, the grand finale featuring the T-Rex and Carnotaurus left us on the edge of our seats. The experience culminates in a dramatic escape through the gift shop, where the adventure continues. The shop is brimming with fantastic merchandise, from plush toys to T-shirts, and we couldn't resist grabbing a few souvenirs.
