The narrative follows Jade, an inquisitive young girl, who separates from her school group during a trip to the "Gallery of Greatness." In this magical, not-yet-open gallery, she encounters the spirits of iconic women like Frida Kahlo, Rosa Parks, Amelia Earhart, Mary Seacole, Marie Curie, and Emmeline Pankhurst. Through interactive displays and engaging performances, Jade learns about their groundbreaking contributions and the challenges they overcame, gradually building her own confidence and belief in her potential.

The set designed by Joanna Scotcher, features vibrant colours and imaginative backdrops, it is minimalistic yet impactful, allowing the performances to take centre stage. Large, movable pillars serve as multipurpose props, transforming from museum exhibits to different historical settings with ease. This clever use of space ensures that the focus remains on the characters and their stories, rather than overwhelming the audience with elaborate scenery.

Lighting plays a crucial role in enhancing the narrative and mood of the show. Directed by Amy Hodge, the lighting design shifts fluidly between scenes, using colour to evoke different emotions and periods. Warm, golden hues highlight moments of triumph and joy, while cooler blues and purples create an atmosphere of introspection and challenge. Spotlights are effectively used to draw attention to key moments and characters, emphasizing their significance in Jade's journey and in history.

The costumes, designed by Joanna Scotcher, are another standout element of the production. Each outfit is meticulously crafted to reflect the distinctive personality and historical context of the character it represents. Emmeline Pankhurst’s striking purple military uniform, complete with a band leader's hat, underscores her leadership and militant spirit. Frida Kahlo’s multi-coloured dress is a visual delight, embodying her vibrant artistic style and Mexican heritage.

Marie Curie’s attire is a modest yet iconic representation of her scientific achievements, while Amelia Earhart’s aviator jacket and goggles capture her pioneering spirit and adventurous nature. Rosa Parks is dressed in attire that reflects her pivotal role in the Civil Rights Movement, resonating with historical accuracy and emotional impact. Jade, in her gray school uniform, provides a stark contrast to the colourful and historically rich costumes of the women she encounters, symbolizing her initial uncertainty and gradual empowerment.

The music, composed by Miranda Cooper and Jennifer Decilveo, is a lively mix of contemporary pop and historical references. Each song is tailored to the character and their story, making the historical figures feel both timeless and relatable. The live, all-female band is a standout feature, positioned on elevated platforms at the back of the stage. This not only adds a dynamic visual element but also ensures that the music is an integral part of the action, rather than a background accompaniment.

Highlights include Emmeline Pankhurst's "Deeds Not Words," which features a rousing, marching-band rhythm and powerful vocals that capture the spirit of the suffragette movement. Frida Kahlo's "World of Colour" transforms the stage into a vibrant, artistic palette, with Latin rhythms that bring her eccentric and passionate personality to life. The music is infectious, encouraging the audience to tap their feet and hum along, making the experience both engaging and memorable.

Georgia Grant-Anderson shines as Jade, capturing the curiosity and determination of the young protagonist. Jennifer Caldwell stands out with her powerful portrayals of Emmeline Pankhurst and Agent Fifi, bringing a commanding presence and emotional depth to each character.

Elena Breschi captivates as Frida Kahlo, Marie Curie, and Sacagawea, infusing each role with distinct personality and energy. Chloe Hart impresses as Gertrude Ederle, Jane Austen, and Mary Anning, showcasing her ability to switch seamlessly between diverse historical figures. Leah Vassell's performances as Amelia Earhart, Mary Seacole, and Rosa Parks are particularly memorable, resonating with the audience through her dynamic stage presence and emotional range. Millie Kiss, playing various roles, provides solid support and adds to the overall cohesion of the cast.
