The Doctor Who: Worlds of Wonder exhibition at the Liverpool World Museum is an enthralling journey through the universe of one of the longest-running and most beloved sci-fi series in television history. We took our children, Alice 3 yrs and Leo 4 yrs, who had never seen Doctor Who, and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Their favourite part was climbing inside the Dalek and working the arms, as well as using the voice changer to sound like a Dalek. The exhibition's appeal to younger audiences, even those unfamiliar with the series, speaks to its engaging and interactive nature.
One of the exhibition’s standout features is how it marries the fantastical elements of Doctor Who with real scientific concepts. Detailed explanations and video content featuring experts like Mark Gatiss and Maggie Aderin-Pocock explore topics from quantum physics to cybernetics, making complex ideas accessible and engaging. At £15 for adults and free entry for children under 5, it was great value for our family outing. Alice and Leo’s joy made the experience all the more special, proving that the exhibition offers something magical for visitors of all ages.
