The beloved 1995 film that brought Cher Horowitz and her Beverly Hills crew to life is set to dazzle audiences in a brand-new musical adaptation. Opening at London’s Trafalgar Theatre on February 15, 2025, Clueless: The Musical promises to blend 90s nostalgia with fresh musical energy, and it’s already shaping up to be a must-see theatrical event.
Originally a clever reimagining of Jane Austen’s Emma, Clueless follows the fabulous, matchmaking Cher as she navigates high school dramas and romantic misadventures. Behind the scenes, Clueless: The Musical brings together an incredible creative team. Amy Heckerling, who wrote and directed the original movie, is back to oversee this stage adaptation. Heckerling has been a pivotal voice in shaping the coming-of-age genre with her sharp wit and keen insight into teenage life, and she’s thrilled to bring a musical twist to the story.
Adding to the excitement is the original score by singer-songwriter KT Tunstall.
